A quick photo of my assistant while I baste the last work-in-progress that I have this year. I don't think I will get it finished, but it is still good progress.
I am finished with 3 of the four quilts I had on my list for Tallgrass Prairie Studios challenge. This is an hourglass quilt inspired by those of the Sometimes Crafter.
Using Tallgrass Prairie Studios challenge, I am getting some projects done. This is for a gift for someone so I am only showing the back. It was long-arm quilted and I finished the binding. I had four projects at the start and now three.
Below is a picture of the latest quilt top that I completed - a disappearing nine-block. It is a gift for a friend's wedding. The long-arm quilter has it now.
Even though I am a REALLLLLY new quilter, I decided to join Park City Girl's online quilt festival. This is only my second quilt, but I did it all myself and for that, this quilt makes me happy. Now I just have to get it quilted!
This is my inaugural post on the quilts side of The Daily Jay. This is the second quilt top I have made - still needs some sashing, backing and quilting.
